Our houses date back to the 17th century and are a perfect retreat for those looking for an authentic experience in the Douro region. Overlooking the magnificent vineyards, olive groves and Mediterranean forest, you will feel immersed in the natural beauty that surrounds us.

    Quinta da Portelada is situated amidst the stunning landscapes of the Douro region, famous for its terraced vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see. This is the land of the famous Port wine, and you will have the opportunity to explore the vineyards, olive groves and Mediterranean woodlands that make up the incredible scenery around us. In addition, we offer vineyard tours, walks with beautiful scenery and the opportunity to connect with nature in a unique way.

For lovers of outdoor activities, we provide free bicycles so you can explore the region in a relaxed and healthy way. What's more, as we produce our own wine and olive oil, guests have the opportunity to observe the harvesting process and take an active part in the production tasks.
